Original Type I photograph capturing Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe enjoying an evening on the town in Boston with DiMaggio's brother Dominick and his wife. What makes this photo so significant is that it is date stamped "Jan 25 1955" on the reverse, which was several months after DiMaggio and Monroe had divorced. Apparently, the two still enjoyed each other's company, despite their tumultuous nine months together as a married couple. A Boston Herald credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with many editorial notations and a portion of a newspaper clipping that featured this photo. The printed caption to the newspaper photo reads in part that despite their evening together, "Marilyn denied reconciliation talk."
