Unique collection of 27 press photos dating back to 1928. The majority (18) relate to Franklin Delano Roosevelt during the election year of 1932 and his first year in office (1933) showing the charismatic orator with world leaders, speaking to the public and press, and rallying for votes. Other interesting shots include: JFK in Los Angeles at a campaign stop in 1960; JFK, LBJ lobbying for Edmund Brown's endorsement; and (5) images from the 1968 Republican Convention in Miami showing enthusiastic crowds for both Reagan and Nixon. Most images are date stamped and many have wire service stamps. The vast majority of the FDR photos have wire captions still attached. The photos range in size from 7x9" to 8x10" and are in excellent condition with no major tearing or creases.
