Original glass negative capturing a New York Giants player posing on the sideline at the Polo Grounds. This is an especially unusual photo, as the player is holding what appears to be an ocelot. Although no date is listed, the uniform style shown here was worn by the Giants from 1913 to 1916. While we cannot be certain, the player appears to be outfielder George Burns, who was a member of the Giants from 1911 to 1921. The glass negative (7x5") remains in Excellent condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive.
