Oakland A's ticket stub issued for Game 3 of the 2001 ALDS, inscribed "Derek Jeter/The Flip" in blue Sharpie on the front. PSA has encapsulated the ticket stub, grading the ticket EX-MT 6 and the signature MINT 9. This is the only signed example of this ticket stub graded at this level by PSA, with just one graded higher. It is also just one of just four signed examples listed in the PSA Population Report. This was the famous game in which Derek Jeter miraculously ran across the field to take a cut-off throw from the outfield and then, in one motion, flipped the ball to catcher Jorge Posada, who was able to tag out Jason Giambi. The play preserved the Yankees' 1-0 lead and ultimately saved the game and Series for the Yankees, who won the game 1-0.
