Displayed is a limited-edition Metro Goldwyn Mayer color print that contains the autographs of 20+ MGM stars. The print, measuring 23.75x30", is marked as 445/2000 in the lower right corner. On the print is, ARS GRATIA ARTIS (Art for Art's Sake), the MGM motto. The iconic MGM Lion is also shown, and beneath the lion is, Metro Goldwyn Mayer. Over twenty MGM stars, directors, and other creative artists have signed the print: Janet Leigh (famous for her role as Marion Crane in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho), Vincente Minelli (famed director of An American in Paris and many other hit films, and the husband of Judy Garland and father of Liza Minelli), Mary Aster (best known for her portrayal of Brigid O'Shaughnessy in The Maltese Falcon), Irene Dunne (with five Academy Award nominations, including one for Best Actress in I Remember Mama), Tony Martin, Fernando Lamas, Gloria DeHaven, Ann Rutherford, Bob Taylor, Cyd Charisse (great dancer/actress who danced the famous ballet finale with Gene Kelly in Singin' in the Rain), plus many more. The autographs were signed in black fine tip marker, and generally rate 8/10. The limited print is in excellent condition, and it's really a star-powered offering.
