Iconic statue from North Carolina's Pinehurst Country club doubles as a sundial and depicts what has affectionately come to be known as "The Putter Boy" or "The Golf Lad," among other nicknames. A 9x9" black wood base offers the foundation for the metal statue, which stands 10" high and depicts said "Lad" standing (perhaps a bit awkwardly) over a "putt" with the oversized club used to tell the time, notations of which are engraved into the metal base. Made by Balfour from an original cast design dating from the early 1900s, this has become a symbol of one of the nation's most famous courses, home of no less than five US Open Championships.
