Displayed is a multi-sport collection totaling over 25 items of autographs and memorabilia: 1) Joe DiMaggio signed and inscribed 10.9x13" wood photo plaque. The Hall of Fame center fielder signed and inscribed in fine, blue marker as, "To Bernice, My friend - and golfing partner. With warm personal regards, Joe DiMaggio." 2) A 10.9x13" Joe DiMaggio wood photo plaque. In gold marker, DiMaggio has inscribed and signed, "To Benny - with the extended fingers. Best always Joe DiMaggio. 3) Phil Rizzuto signed and inscribed 11x13" wood photo plaque. The Hall of Fame shortstop used a pen to write, "To Benny the best handicapper I know. 'Holy Cow' Phil Rizzuto." 4) Kyle Rote wood photo plaque, measures 8.3x11.4". Depicts Rote's photo on a cover of the Nov. 13, 1950, issue of Life magazine that was itself the cover of a program for a memorial service for Rote at Marble Collegiate Church, in New York City, on September 19, 2002. The memorial service program cover is autographed by former New York Football Giants' head coach Allie Sherman, former Giants' players Andy Robustelli and Y.A. Tittle, and sports announcer Warner Wolf. 5) A signed photocopy of the cover of the June 26, 1992, edition of The Hockey News that features Hall of Famer Mario Lemieux and surefire future Hall of Famer Jaromir Jagr as consecutive winners of the Stanley Cup as Pittsburgh Penguins. The color photocopy measures approx. 10x12", and the entire display is matted and framed to 16.2x20.2". Includes a facsimile "plaque" measuring approx. 2.75x9.25" which reads, "MARIO LEMIEUX & JAROMIR JAGR BACK-TO-BACK" The Hockey News - June 26, 1992/Limited Edition 133 OF 1000." Both Lemieux and Jagr have signed the display in blue fine tip marker. The display is in EXCELLENT condition. 6) A 10.5x13.5" photo signed by Hall of Famers Cal Ripken Jr. and Nolan Ryan as part of a display, matted and framed to 16.1x20.2". A plaque at the bottom of the display reads, "CAL RIPKEN JR./NOLAN RYAN 'LEGENDS OF BASEBALL' ORIOLE PARK AT CAMDEN YARDS/Limited Edition 577 of 2000." Hall of Famers Ripken and Ryan have each signed in blue, fine tip marker. This display comes with a COA from Paul Goldin, President of The Score Board, Inc. 7) Two black & white signed 8x10" photos of Don Larsen - one of Larsen pitching the final pitch of his World Series perfect game in Game 5 in 1956, and the other photo as Larsen is coming off the field just seconds after completing the perfect game. Both photos are signed in blue marker. 8) Signed photos (9). Most 8x10" and in color. Each signed, mostly in blue marker: Reggie Jackson, Moose Skowron, Warren Spahn, with a second Spahn autograph on an enclosed advertisement, Wade Boggs (2), Paul O'Neill, Don Mattingly (with a Steiner COA), Bob Gibson, Phil Rizzuto. 9) Two New York Yankees Yearbooks: Each approx. 8.5x10.8" - 1974 and 1977 (with the '77 Yearbook having a special feature on the 1927 Yankees). 10) 1982 Houston Astros Media Guide (4.5x9"). 11) Hall of Fame/Coca-Cola thick cardboard Statistical "Wheel" with an 8.75" diameter. Shows foxing and wear. 12) Bobo Newsome mini-scorecard (cardboard), measures 2.25x3.75". 13) Two punched full tickets to the 1972 World Series at Yankee Stadium for Games 4 & 5. Tickets are attached to each other. each ticket measures 2.2x6.5". 14) A sheet of season tickets to the 1983 New York Generals of the USFL. The sheets measure 7.5x13.4". 15) A Hillerich and Bradsby Louisville Slugger baseball bat that has a facsimile George "Babe" Ruth autograph etched into the barrel. The "Ruth" portion of the etched facsimile autograph cannot be clearly read, and it is obscured from effects of evident use. The barrel also has "LITTLE LEAGUE" and "LOUISVILLE SLUGGER etched into the barrel. The bat has a length of 31" and a weight of 20.5 ounces. The bat shows extensive wear. Part of the knob is missing and about an inch of the lower handle above the knob is also missing, having chipped off. The barrel and handle exhibit many ball marks, chips, and small stains. 16) Spalding vintage baseball bat. Length is 31.4" and weight is a hefty 40.6 ounces. Trademark reads, "SPALDING 200 S." Exhibits great wear, with ball marks, dings, darkening, spots of surface loss. Spalding trademark on the knob. 17) Three business cards reading, "Compliments of New York Base Ball Club/Horace C. Stoneham/President." Lots of Hall of Famers and stars. Most of the items are in Very Good or Excellent condition.
