New York Yankees home jersey worn by outfielder Andrew McCutchen during the club's Wild Card playoff win over the Oakland Athletics on October 3, 2018. Photo-matched to Getty 1053785370. Accompanied by both an MLB hologram label (JB745608) and Steiner Sports hologram label (273368), each of which is affixed to a label on the tail. The white pinstripe polyester jersey features the club's "NY" logo on the left breast and the number "26" on the reverse, each applied in black tackle twill. Located on the left front tail are a "Majestic 42" label and a New York Yankees inventory label. An MLB "2018 Postseason" patch appears on the right sleeve. McCutchen has inscribed the jersey in black fine-point marker (grading 8/10) on the upper right breast: "From one Andrew to another! Andrew McCutchen 22." (McCutchen was number 26 with the Yankees, but 22 was his longtime number with the Pirates). The jersey is original as issued, with light wear. McCutchen started in left field and batted leadoff for the Yankees in the one-game Wild Card playoff against the A's in 2018. He walked once and scored a run in the Yankees' 7-2 victory. McCutchen played in twenty-five games with the Yankees in 2018 after being traded to the team from the San Francisco Giants on August 31st. It was his only season in pinstripes. A five-time All-Star and former National League MVP, McCutchen currently has 299 home runs, 1,045 RBI, and a .276 lifetime average.
