Circa 1958 Type I exhibit proof depicts "The King" in all his suave, youthful glory as Elvis Presley looks just off-camera with his trademark smile/smirk creasing his face. Clearly on a movie set with klieg lights in the background, Elvis strikes a relaxed pose, seated with arms crossed. His facsimile name is scripted by unknown hand in black ink on the front, and there are reference numbers at each bottom corner. While the front is clean with only a couple of small wrinkles noticed, the back bears a small printed caption identifying the photo as well as pencil notation stating, "Elvis Presley - 'King Creole' - Pilgrim - Wed, July 30." According to the included full PSA/DNA LOA, "The original 'One-of-a-Kind' PROOF photo that made Presley's Exhibit Arcade card." Decades after his passing, the charisma exuded in this one photo helps explain how Elvis achieved worldwide notoriety on both stage and screen.
