Original Type I color photograph of Pele at his final game, signed by Pele along the base. PSA has encapsulated the photo, certifying the signature as "Authentic" and the photo as "Type I Authentic." The rousing image pictures Pele being carried off the field following the game, with an American flag in one hand and a Brazilian flag in the other. He has inscribed the photo in blue ink "To Yohee from Pele, with the signature grading 7/10. 

Pele's final game, an exhibition between the New York Cosmos and Santos of Brazil, took place at Giants Stadium in New Jersey on October 1, 1977. Pele played for only two professional teams during his long career, Santos of Brazil and the New York Cosmos. In a fitting move, Pele played the first half of the game for the Cosmos, and the second half with Santos. Pele scored one goal in the first half for the Cosmos, which helped them win the game 2-1. This photo was taken by a local press photographer (his field pass for the game is featured elsewhere in this auction) and represents a never-before-seen image of Pele following his historic final game. The photo (10x8") remains in Near Mint condition.
