Lyn St. James competed in the IndyCar series, with eleven CART and five Indy Racing League starts to her name, and is remembered as one of just nine women who have qualified for the Indianapolis 500, and the first woman to win the Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year award. Collection includes a Simpson race helmet painted in a checkered flag and Bald Eagle design; Stand21 racing shoes in blue (appear to be approximately women's size 7); and a pair of OMP Racewear gloves in blue. All show fine use and are from an unknown event.
