Lyn St. James competed in the IndyCar series, with eleven CART and five Indy Racing League starts to her name, and is remembered as one of just nine women who have qualified for the Indianapolis 500, and the first woman to win the Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year award. She also has two class victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and won the GTO class, partnering with Calvin Fish and Robby Gordon, at the 1990 12 Hours of Sebring. Sourcing from her 1997 campaign comes this fine Lyn St. James Indianapolis 500 worn fire suit. Simpson fire suit is complete with manufacturers tagging in the collar and features numerous patches and embroidered accents including Lyn St. James Racing; Indy Racing League; PPG; Cinergy; Simpson; Champion; Lifetime Television for Women; and others including "Lyn St. James" embroidery on the belt.
