Rare on-site wrestling poster issued in promotion for the "Stampede Wrestling" card held at the Coliseum in Vancouver, Canada, on August 25, 1983. The feature attraction that night was Andre the Giant, who took part in a "$10,000 15 Man Over The Top Battle Royal." Andre is pictured prominently on the right side of the poster, along with his size ("7'5") and weight ("450 lbs"). Other featured performers include a young Bret Hart, Nick Bockwinkle, David Schultz, and the Dynamite Kid, all of whom are pictured. The promoter of Stampede Wrestling, which operated out of Calgary, Canada, was the legendary Stu Hart (Bret Hart's father), who is also pictured along the base. Research indicates that Andre the Giant was victorious in the Battle Royal, while Bret Hart registered a "no contest" against Archie Gouldie in the preliminaries. The poster (22x17"), printed on thin paper stock, displays light wear along the border areas and is otherwise in Excellent to Mint condition.
