This grouping of 1960’s Topps football sets includes a ’60 set, ’61, ’62, ’63, ’65, 68 Stand Ups, ’69, and a ’69 “4 in 1” set. Also included are a ’61 Fleer and a ’64 Philadelphia set. The ’60 Topps set averages EX to EX-MT with some NRMT examples throughout. The ’61 Topps set averages EX-MT to NRMT with many NM-MT to Mint examples throughout. The four major cards in the ’62 set, Ditka, Tarkenton, Brown, and Davis, have all been filled in with black marker. Balance of the set averages EX to EX-MT. The ’63 set contains a plethora of short-prints and averages EX to EX-MT. The ’65 set, highlighted by Joe Namath’s rookie (1 ?” crease on obverse, o/w EX+ to EX-MT) and Fred Biletnikoff’s rookie (EX-MT+), averages mostly EX-MT. There are some NRMT examples throughout the set. Checklist #87 and #176 are marked. The ’68 Topps Stand-Ups is tough to find unpunched. The presented set is complete & unpunched at 22 cards and averages EX to EX-MT. The ’69 set, highlighted by a pair of rookies, Piccolo (EX-MT+) and Csonka (EX-MT), averages mostly EX-MT with NRMT examples throughout. The ’69 Topps “4 in 1” set, 100% intact, averages EX-MT. The ’61 Fleer set features Jack Kemp (EX+ to EX-MT) and Don Meredith’s rookie (EX-MT). The set averages EX to EX-MT. The ’64 Philadelphia set averages EX-MT to NRMT. Both checklists are marked.
