Wilson Official Pacific Coast League baseball (circa 1924-1931) signed by Hall of Fame pitcher Walter Johnson on a side panel. Johnson has scripted his name in red ink, with the signature grading 6/10. He has also added a personalization above his name, but the name has been obscured by an abrasion and is no longer legible. Despite his fame and the fact that he later managed in the Majors, Walter Johnson single-signed balls are much scarcer than those of his Hall of Fame contemporaries, such as Ruth, Cobb, Wagner, and Young. This is just the seventh we have offered in the past twenty-two years and one that is new to the hobby. The ball is moderately soiled and displays numerous abrasions, a few of which have erased many of the manufacturer's stampings, including most of the league president's facsimile signature, which is stamped directly below Johnson's signature.
