Autograph page signed by boxing greats Joe Louis and Holman Williams. Both autographs are in pencil on a 6x4" page removed from an autograph book and both have a great look. Before Muhammad Ali, Louis was considered by many as the icon of the Heavyweight division, sporting the longest title reign in history with a record-setting 25 successful title defenses, the most in any weight class. Williams, though less noted, was an accomplished fighter in his own right as a contender in both the middleweight and welterweight divisions. Unfortunately, he performed in an era in which Black athletes - with the rare exception of the exceptional likes of Louis - were rarely, if ever, given a chance to compete in World Championship bouts; he did win the World Colored Middleweight Championship in 1942. Piece is encapsulated by PSA/DNA, though the Authentic Auto designation is only offered for the Louis signature.
