Uncracked specimen weighs 32.0 ounces and measures 34.75", with Carter's number 8 on the knob in bold black marker, and model P89 stamped on the barrel above his signature. Light use evident, not only has "The Kid" signed in beautiful 8/10 blue Sharpie, but he has added a lengthy inscription to Norris reading, "To Chuck, Thank you again for your thoughtfulness! Continued good health success & happiness always. Take care & God Bless, your friend," followed by his signature. Dating time frame covers the 1986 period which, of course, included New York's amazing season culminating on a World Series victory for the ages, of which Carter was a key component.
