1971 John Milner New York Mets jersey was game worn during the slugging first baseman's rookie season. The last year in which the Mets sported the gray flannel look, this is all original with Wilson size 40 tag on left front tail, with "28-40-1971" (number-size-year) chain stitched in blue directly to the jersey inside the collar. New York is stitched across the chest of this button-front top in blue-on-orange, circular Mets skyline patch is on the left sleeve. Number 28 is below left of the name on front, also on back in same style. Though he played all or part of 12 seasons in MLB, Milner appeared in just nine games during his '71 campaign, making this a rare specimen.
