Game used Cleveland Indians hat dates from the mid-1950s; this style, incorporating Chief Wahoo into the team's red "C," was only used for about five years. Navy blue cap has Tim McAuliffe tag sewn in band, with number 7 written in fading black marker; number 44 is also written inside the crown. No Cleveland player wore number 44 during the aforementioned period, though 4-time all-star Al Rosen did wear the number 7 during the period of 1948-56. Extensive use is displayed with a couple of cracks in the brim liner but the material is intact, sweat stains to the band, and general overall wear.
