Photo-matched to February 28th, 2016 (Getty 512930382), this stellar 2016 goalie mask was game worn by Frederik Andersen during his final season with the Anaheim Ducks. Colorful combo-style mask has Bauer manufacturer's logo above the face cage portion, and intense paint job highlighted by a Ducks-mask logo, red star-and-bear on each side, and number 31 on the chin. Straps, chin guard, and back plate are present, as is the velcro forehead sweat protector. Back plate is also painted with all artwork done by DAVEART and includes "DANMARK" (Denmark, Andersen's home country) and a Herning logo crest. Moderate use is displayed though difficult to see on the colorful background, and this dates from the second half of the 2015-16 season, in which he posted an impressive 22-9-7 record with a 2.30 Goals Against Average, enough to earn a share of the Jennings Trophy for lowest team GAA, along with teammate John Gibson. Andersen is entering his 11th NHL season - now with the Carolina Hurricanes - and averages just under 30 wins per season for his career. Award-worthy game used item from an award-winning goaltender. Photo-matched by Davious Photo-Matched and comes with their LOA.
