Circa 1920s photo depicts Hall of Famer Frankie Frisch in a posed action shot of the follow through of his swing, taken by no less than famed photographer Charles Conlon. Measuring 5x8.5", the image has no major blemishes and no tears evident; the back has not only Conlon's red-ink stamp from the Evening Telegram, but it also bears a pencil identification of Frisch in Conlon's distinctive style, with first name in lower case, last name in all caps, and team name (Giants) in parentheses. The Hall of Fame infielder had just over 10,000 plate appearances during his 19-year career, recording an exceptional .316 lifetime average to go with his four World Series titles. Comes with PSA LOA certifying this as a Type I photo.
