Collection of vintage baseball pants, socks, and sliding pads, the highlight of which is a pair New York Yankees pants. 1) 1971 New York Yankees pants. The white flannel pinstripe pants feature a "Wilson 38" label in the waistband. Both the year and the inseam measurement ("1971-27") are stitched in navy to the right of the manufacturer's label. Several different numbers and names are written along the interior in black marker, indicating that these pants were later used by a New York Yankees minor-league affiliate. The button-fly pants display heavy use, including light staining. 2) Pro-Model pants. The white flannel pants display a single line of blue piping down the side of each leg. Located in the waistband are a "Rawliings Hall of Fame Flannel" label, a "38" size tag, a laundry tag, and a flag tag reading "Set 1 1956." The button-fly pants display heavy use, including light staining. 3) Generic Pants. The white flannel pants display blue and red piping down the side of each leg and each belt loop. Located in the waistband are a "Van Ginkels" (Des Moines, Iowa) label and a "36" size tag. The button-fly pants display heavy wear, including tears and stains. 4-5) Two pairs of vintage stirrup socks. One is sold red, the other navy with white stripes. Both display heavy wear, including small tears. 6) Vintage Sliding pad. Manufactured by Spalding. Heavy wear with staining and repaired tears.
