Collection of vintage George Burke black-and-white photos, each picturing a different Boston Braves player, and each signed on the front by the respective ballplayer. The photos of Casey Stengel and George Kelly have each been encapsulated by PSA, with the photos certified as Type I Authentic and the signatures certified as "Authentic." This collection has the special provenance of originating from the personal collection of Boston Braves catcher Phil Masi and has been consigned directly by a family member. Each photo measures 4x6 inches and bears Burke's credit stamp on the reverse. All are signed in green fountain pen (averaging 8/10), with a few personalized to Masi. Given the players represented, the photos were most likely signed in the early 1940s (although some of the photos were clearly taken at an earlier date based on uniform styles). Excellent condition overall. Accompanied by the original George Burke mailing envelope.
