1996 Joe Girardi New York Yankees game used bat shows very nice use from the first of his four seasons in the Bronx. Bat weighs 33.3 ounces and measures 34.2" in length; number 45 is written on the knob in black marker, definitively matching this bat to the '96 season as that was the only one in which Girardi wore that number. Beautiful use includes clear blue paint ball transfers, bat rack transfers, spike marks and excellent overall use. Serving as the Bronx Bombers' primary catcher in that '96 season, Girardi appeared in 124 games with a career-high .296 batting average and was a key component as New York rolled to a World Series title in a 6-game series against the Atlanta Braves.
