Tremendous 1998 photo-matched game used bat from New York Yankees outfielder Bernie Williams in Game 2 of the World Series. Measures 34.5" and weighs 32.8 ounces, bat shows outstanding use, particularly the red ink transfers on the barrel, as those are from the special baseballs used during the Series. Model DW20 is stamped into the knob, and use includes blue paint transfers, cleat marks, and slight checking to the barrel. Williams, who led the AL in batting in '98 with a .339 average, carried his contribution into the postseason, adding a 2-run homer in New York's 9-3 drubbing of the San Diego Padres, en route to a decisive 4-game sweep. Comes with PSA/DNA LOA grading this bat a perfect GU 10. Photo-matched to Getty 72575752 (note that this is for reference purposes, photo not included with lot).
