Game used Larry Brown Pittsburgh Steelers jersey has indications of use in both the 1981 and '82 seasons. All original white top has 81 year tag on front tail along with Exclusive Steelers tag and Medalist size 48; in addition, the outline of what appears to have been the 1982 patch has been removed, suggesting use in that season. Nice use is apparent in the form of scuffs, stains, pilling, and several team repairs including a large one on the right sleeve; both sleeves have been custom shortened. Though perhaps not a household name, Brown was one of just 22 players to perform on all four Pittsburgh Super Bowl teams and his job was a crucial one. In his first six seasons he was used primarily as a blocking tight end before moving into the tackle position on the offensive line entrusted with protecting the Steelers' crown jewel, quarterback Terry Bradshaw. Comes with letter from the Pittsburgh Steelers signed by Art Rooney II.
