Player edition of the 1992 World Series Trophy was awarded to Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Jack Morris. Circular black base measures 2.5" in height and 7" in diameter and has a Balfour sticker on the bottom; this is a smaller version of the one awarded to the team which wins the World Series. Flags naming each of the 26 teams surround a baseball topped by a crown, with logos of the Jays and their opponents, the Atlanta Braves. Measures roughly 12" to the top of the flags. A metal band around the base has printed in black letters, "World Series Champions - Toronto Blue Jays - 1992 - Jack Morris." Other versions of these that we have handled often have loose or missing flags or hardware, but this is a strong specimen in EX+ condition. Being near the end of his storied career - which included being named the 1991 World Series MVP while with the Minnesota Twins on the strength of two wins over Atlanta - the 37-year old Morris had a spectacular 21-6 record in the '92 season as Toronto captured the AL pennant before taking down the Braves in a 6-game World Series. Comes directly from the Hall of Famer with his signed COA.
