Displayed is a 1936 rare premium R311 leather finish 6x8" black and white photo that depicts three New York Yankees of Italian descent: Hall of Famers Joe DiMaggio and Tony Lazzerri and star Frankie Crosetti. Center fielder Joe DiMaggio had a stellar rookie season for the '36 Yankees as the Yankee Clipper batted .323, with 29 homers and 125 RBIs. In that season, second baseman Lazzeri hit .287, with 14 home runs and 109 RBIs, and shortstop Crosetti batted .288, with 15 home runs and 78 RBIs. The photo appears to have been taken during spring training. Each of the aforementioned players has signed the photo with a steel-tip fountain pen, in black ink. The photo has five small holes along the top margin, and some paper loss in back of where the holes are located. There is some toning, some small creases, and some separated paper in the corners.
