Original color photograph is perfectly signed by New York Yankees captain Thurman Munson. Some color fading from age is present on this 8x10" shot, but that does not at all affect the perfect 10/10 signature spread across Munson's chest. The photo has been encapsulated by PSA with an Auto grade of GEM MT 10. Exceptional provenance as this image was taken by our consignor, who had access to Yankee Stadium. Apparently, that wasn't the only New York ballpark he had access to, as this background is actually that of Shea Stadium, dating this to the 1974-75 seasons, during which the Bronx Bombers took their act to Queens while Yankee Stadium was being renovated. Rare signature, in perfect form, in an unusual setting.
