1923 Type I photo shows a close up of the grip utilized by golf legend Bobby Jones. Photo measures 6.5x8.5", the bulk of which is occupied by Jones' hands, pinky of right hand folded over index finger of the right. Back is jammed with editorial marks, stamp from Pacific and Atlantic Photos, and affixed wire copy reading, "Here is how Bobby Jones, youthful Atlantan, National Open Golf Champ, holds his driver as he gets set for driving the ball," dated 7-26-(19)23. Jones won 13 major championships in his Hall of Fame career, including four US Open titles. Photo has seen some abuse with a cut missing from the top right corner, smaller cut on bottom right, creases, and pinholes. Encapsulated by PSA as Type I Authentic.
