Rare and curious item in this circa 1953-55 Baltimore Colts jersey. This was worn by a walk-on trying out for the team, though he did not make it and we do not know exactly who. What we can say is that this is definitely a Colts jersey, and nobody on the team wore this number (54) in any of those three seasons. Blue top has white highlights left front tail has washing instructions, and MacGregor size 44 tagging on back right tail (MacGregor tag is slightly separated and frayed). Nice use is displayed, highlighted by a pair of significant un-repaired pulls at the bottom front. Classic piece from years before the NFL-AFL merger.
