1955 Boston Red Sox team-signed ball includes a bonus as it is in the original box with mailing label from owner Tom Yawkey. Official American League (Harridge) ball is unused with clear stampings and displays light but even age toning. Included is a rare signature of first baseman Harry Agganis, who played only in 1954 and '55 before giving way to illness and passing away during that '55 season. Also included are: Bill Klaus, Eddie Joost, Will Nixon, Mel Parnell, Bill Goodman, Jackie Jensen, Gene Stephens, and more. Signatures of Ted Williams and manager Mike (Pinky) Higgins on the sweet spot have both been deemed secretarial. The original box includes a partially torn mailing label postmarked July 11, 1955, with "T.A. Yawkey" typed in as the sender and the recipient's name blacked out. Comes with PSA LOA.
