Back when pitchers used to hit, ace right-hander Tom Seaver more than held his own with a bat in his hand, slugging 12 homers and driving in 86 runs over his Hall of Fame career. Seaver used this Hillerich & Bardsby l K55 bat during a very emotional 1977 campaign, when "The Franchise" was shockingly traded mid-season to the Cincinnati Reds. The ash bat measures 34", weighs just shy of 34 ounces and shows moderate to heavy use with a slight handle crack. There are many ball marks visible on the left and back barrel, while green and red bat rack streaks can be seen on the right, left and back barrel. In addition, there are small dimples on the back barrel, large depressions on the right and spots of white paint. Seaver's #41 is written in black marker on the knob and top of the barrel. LOA included.
