1970 Pittsburgh Steelers ticket stub dates from the game of September 20, notable for being the debut of legendary quarterback Terry Bradshaw. Aside from the uneven tear at the top of this 1.5x3.5" stub, it has a clean look to front and back, and slight touches to the corners. In the '70 season opener, Bradshaw's first impression was not a great one, to say the least, as he completed just four of 16 passes for 70 yards before giving way to Terry Hanratty, who threw the hosts' lone TD in a 19-7 loss to the Houston Oilers. Bradshaw did score, in a fashion, however; he was forced out of the end zone in the third quarter, resulting in a safety for Houston. Four Super Bowl titles and a Hall of Fame induction later, Bradshaw remains a beloved commentator and a substantial character in football folklore. Stub is encapsulated by PSA as STUB GOOD 2.
