Stunner of a game used jersey from 1992-93, early in the career of Hall of Fame sniper Joe Sakic during his time with the Quebec Nordiques. White jersey has Maksa Ultrafil and size 52 tagging in collar, is all-original, and shows beautiful use with multiple stick marks, paint transfers, light burns, broken threads, and some really nice pilling inside. Nordiques logo crest is across the chest. Right shoulder bears a Stanley Cup 100th Anniversary patch, captain's C is on the left breast in blue-on-red tackle twill; number 19 is on shoulders and back in same style. Name is on a patch in all blue lettering above the rear number and blue fleur de lis patches are on each shoulder and across the bottom. Having entered the NHL in 1988 at the age of 19, Sakic was in his fifth NHL season and reached the 100-point plateau for the third time in '92-93, amassing 48 goals and 57 assists for 105 points. In 1995-96, the struggling franchise relocated to become the Colorado Avalanche, winning that season's Stanley Cup on the strength of Sakic's Conn Smythe Award performance as playoffs MVP, and his 625 career goals ranks 16 on the NHL's all-time list. The light blue color and fleur de lis design made Nordiques gear very popular and this jersey stands the test of time, an all-around masterpiece.
