Presented is a 1998 Felix Rodriguez Arizona Diamondbacks inaugural season game used jersey. The Diamondbacks were an expansion team in '98, managed by Buck Showalter. The team finished 5th in the NL West Division with a record of 65-97. Felix Rodriguez was a relief pitcher who appeared in 43 games, finishing 23 contests and having five saves, with an ERA of 6.14. Rodriguez pitched for seven Major League teams from 1995-2006, almost solely in relief, and he had a lifetime 38-26 record, with a 3.71 ERA. Rodriguez only played the '98 season with the Diamondbacks, and he spent more than five full seasons after that with the San Francisco Giants. The black polyester jersey has a "1998 Inaugural Season Diamond Backs" patch on the left sleeve, and the Diamondbacks' logo on the left chest. The right sleeve has a Russell Athletic patch, and on the outer left tail is a Russell Athletic tag and a Diamond Collectibles tag showing size "48." Beneath the above-mentioned tags is a tag showing "100% Polyester" and another tag, which reads "Tapered Body." The upper back of the jersey shows "RODRIGUEZ," in purple sewn-on letters, with white trim. Under the name is "47" in green sewn-on letters, with white and purple trim. The jersey has six black buttons down the front. Overall, the jersey shows heavy use and is in excellent condition.
