Great ring-worn boxing shoes from Heavyweight Champion boxer and "actor" Tommy Morrison, attributed to his 1993 bout against George Foreman. High top Pony boots are all black with laces present, tongue tag on each reads size US 10 1/2 on one side, with the back reading "K.O. Super - 450051 - 931001." Even use is displayed on each. An attached tag indicates that this is from the Morrison-Foreman bout on June 7; contemporary photos display Morrison wearing this exact style, though the images are not high-resolution enough to confirm a definitive photo-match. Indeed, Morrison played a boxer (fittingly enough) in 1990's Rocky V, while Foreman had re-invented himself just before becoming the jovial grill salesman with a powerhouse punch. Morrison eschewed his usual aggressive style, staying away from the 44-year old ex-champ on his way to claiming a unanimous decision for the WBO belt; just under a year and a half later, Foreman stunned Michael Moorer with a 10th round knockout to claim the WBA and IBF titles, making him the oldest champ in history.
