Bright 1989 Oakland Athletics jersey game worn and signed by then-coach Reggie Jackson. Rawlings button-front jersey has Rawlings size 46, and "1 1989" strip tagging inside the tail by the left hip. Script Athletics is across the chest, number 44 below left and on back in green-on-yellow tackle twill. A's elephant logo patch in green is on the left shoulder, name is in arched all-green letters on a plate above the rear number. Signed below the front number in 6/10 blue Sharpie. Use displayed includes scattered minor stains, particularly around the collar area. Reggie retired after the 1987 season before moving to the coaching ranks, and in addition to being an easy Hall of Fame selection, "Mr. October" had his number 44 retired by the New York Yankees; interestingly, the A's chose to retire his number "9" which he wore in the early years of his career instead of the more-familiar 44 he donned upon his return to Oakland.
