Peerless "National League" baseball signed by Hall of Fame pitcher Dazzy Vance across the sweet spot. Vance has beautifully scripted his name in blue ink, with the signature grading 8/10. The ball is lightly toned, with a few minor blemishes, and is in Excellent condition overall. According to our consignor, this ball was originally obtained at Vance's 1955 Hall of Fame induction. Vance died just six years later, giving Hall of Fame autograph collectors just a six-year window in which to obtain his signature. That short span is one of the main reasons for the scarcity of Vance singles today.
