Pair of cards, each signed by Joe DiMaggio, for his membership in the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). Both cards measure 3.5x2.25", and each shows some wear but all print and signatures by The Yankee Clipper remain bold and clear. Both cards have the typewritten membership number 24912 and both contain the same printed text. First card is dated 11/1/73 with printed number 814312; the other is dated 5/1/77 with serial number 875102. Back of each is signed in 7/10 blue ballpoint ink, both show age but remain sharp, with the 1973 issue having some paper loss to the top right corner. Worth noting that AFTRA was a counterpart to the more widely known Screen Actors Guild (SAG), of which Joltin' Joe was also a member, with a DiMaggio card from that organization also available in this auction. The two organizations merged in 2012 to become the current day SAG-AFTRA. Each is separately encapsulated by PSA/DNA as Authentic Auto. Comes with family Letter of Provenance indicating that these came from The Joe DiMaggio Collection.
