New York Rangers forward Mike Gartner scored his way into NHL history in his team's 8-3 victory over the New Jersey Devils on December 26, 1993. A third period tally made Gartner just the 6th player in NHL history to amass 600 career goals and that stick was taken out of play to be sent to the Hall of Fame. Just minutes later, however, he scored number 601 with this very Victoriaville right-handed stick, which shows great use with all original tape on blade and butt end. M. GARTNER is stamped on the shaft and "601 GOAL" is written in black marker on the wood tip of the butt end. The future Hall of Famer became a key cog in a Rangers attack that culminated that season with bringing the first Stanley Cup to the Big Apple in over 50 years. Gartner went on to amass 708 career goals, currently 8th on the all-time list.
