Hall of Fame center Marcel Dionne was a prolific NHL scorer and playmaker who played for 18 seasons (1971-89) as a member of the Detroit red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, and New York Rangers. This is a great example of a Dionne game used stick from the prime of his career. Nicknamed "Little Beaver," the 5'8" Canadian won the Ross Trophy in 1979-80 when Dionne was tied for the most points, at 137, with Wayne Gretzky, but won the Ross Trophy because he scored two more goals than Gretzky. The great Dionne put up amazing point totals. He scored 100 points eight times and in six seasons he scored 50 or more goals. This is great example of a Dionne game used stick from the prime of his career. "CCM Custom Pro" is date stamped Oct. 30, 1979. The stick shows super use and is uncracked. Original tape is on blade and butt end. Dionne has vintage signed and inscribed "Best wishes Marcel Dionne" with black fine-tipped marker on the shaft. "16" is written on the tape on the butt end with "DIONNE" stamped below.
