Displayed is a striking black and white photograph of Franklin Delano Roosevelt that has a beautiful, flowing inscription and signature by FDR, the 32nd President of the United States. Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a Democrat, was elected as President a record four times. He served as President from 1933 until his demise in 1945. Roosevelt presided over much of the Great Depression, and he was involved in much social and economic legislation of social programs. He also led the United States during World War II, which ended soon after Roosevelt died in office in 1945. The photo measures 9.1x7.25", matted and framed to approx. 10x14". Using black ink from a fountain pen, Roosevelt neatly inscribed and signed, "To Dr. J. [?] Fosdick/James [?] with my regards/Franklin Roosevelt." The beautiful, flowing FDR signature rates an 8/10.
