Circa 1980s Boston Red Sox helmet game used by second baseman Jerry Remy. Boston B logo decal is on the front of the navy blue helmet; Remy's number 2 is in thick black marker on the center padding under the top, American Baseball Cap size 7 1/8 and Pro Cold stickers are near the padding, and 7 1/8 is also written on one side in the same thick marker. Outstanding use is evident with an extensive crack starting behind the right ear flap, with pine tar and a variety of scuffs. Though he enjoyed a solid, if unspectacular, 10 seasons in the Major Leagues, he has remained a popular fixture in Boston as part of the NESN broadcast team.
