Displayed is a great Beatles ticket stub. It's from a "Special Preview" of The Beatles' movie A Hard Day's Night, The Beatles' first feature length movie, for the August 12th, 1964, showing at the St. George Theatre in Framingham, Massachusetts. In the months before the release of A Hard Day's Night movie, The Beatles' release of "I Want to Hold Your Hand," and its first appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show, at the time the largest television audience for a show in American history, propelled The Beatles into American superstardom. In A Hard Day's Night, The Beatles played themselves in a type of musical comedy that has the four Beatles playing roles not unlike the Marx Brothers, and the film was a great hit. The ticket stub, for a $1.25 admission, is irregularly shaped, and measures approx. 3.5x7.5". The stub depicts The Beatles in a unique manner, partially shown on the ticket stub in a standard photo and the other part of The Beatles like a cut-out - giving the ticket stub its creative shaping. The ticket stub has been encapsulated and graded PSA "GOOD 2."
