FAILED PSA
Displayed is a Richard Nixon single signed Rawlings Official American League Ball (Bobby Brown). Nixon served as U.S. President from 1969 to August 9, 1974, when he resigned because of the Watergate Scandal. As President, he was noted for helping to bring detente with the Soviet Union and China, and for serving during the first U.S. manned moon landings. Nixon was a great sports fan. While attending Whittier College, Nixon played on the football team, where he was an undersized lineman who mainly contributed as a substitute used as "cannon fodder" during practices. Nixon was such a fan that he is even the subject of a book by Nicholas Evans Sarantakes titled Fan in Chief: Richard Nixon and American Sports 1969-1974. In this book. Nixon's love of sports, especially football and baseball, is well documented. Nixon signed the ball on the sweet spot in blue ink from a ballpoint pen. The ball is in excellent condition, and the ball comes with a PSA LOA for the signature.
