Nice presentational bat given to concessionaire extraordinaire Harry M. Stevens. Bat is dark brown, unused, 35.5" long and designed for display, with a hole in knob and end cap to facilitate hanging. On the barrel in gold lettering that appears to be paint pen but is more likely stamped, reads: "Hon. Harry M. Stevens, Always on hand, in any pinch to bring home the winning run, Your Old Pal." Name under the writing looks to be "Hon S Wm Keng" but we cannot identify conclusively. He founded Harry M. Stevens Inc. in 1887 and the company remained the premier food service name in professional sports venues until it was purchased by Aramark in 1994.
