Between the frequent print defects and the dark borders of the 1955 Bowman issue, there are few examples that have survived the sixty-plus years since they were manufactured in the condition that we offer with this Mantle.  The four sharp corners and the original pack fresh gloss stand out when examining this visually unstoppable example. The Mick was just one season away from baseball greatness in 1955 and only color TV might've bested him in a popularity contest.  Graded and encapsulated NM-MT 8 by PSA; Pop 89 example with only 16 higher.
