The 4-time All-Star & 2-time Stanley Cup winner was a key factor in the Boston Bruins’ defense. With Orr, Smith was part of an indelible defensive force. Prince of Wales trophy was awarded to Smith in honor of the Bruins’ 1973-74 Eastern Division championship. Standing 13” tall, trophy is a silver cup standing on top of a wooden platform. Wooden platform has two metal plates, one on each side of the platform. One reads “H.R.H. Prince of Wales Trophy Dallas Smith”. The other reads “N.H.L. Champions Winners 1973-74 Boston Bruins”. Trophy originally had three feathers on the lid of the cup. One has broken off. The award has been in Dallas Smith’s possession ever since he received it.
