Dozens of items to pore through in this personal collection from the family of 1959 World Series umpire Hal Dixon. Memorabilia includes contracts, Walter O'Malley signed letter, Type I photographs, photos of him umpiring, newspaper clippings, family photos, letter from Larry Goetz, headshot negatives, and even Hal's own 1955 Bowman card of himself, as well as scrapbooks with some loose material. Dixon's career spanned from 1953-59 and included 989 games worked, and as he passed in 1966 at the young age of just 46, artifacts of his remain scarce.
